I am Hatha and Yin trained yoga teacher, born and raised in Germany, living in Ireland, currently staying in Fuerteventura.
Before starting my yoga journey, I was convinced that only high impact sports and running are going to bring balance into my busy life. But oh was I wrong! After a friend convinced me to join her for a yoga class, I was immediately hooked, not only for its physical but also for its mental benefits.
Over the following years, the more I developed my own practice, the more I experienced how yoga helps to gain a deeper awareness of your physical and emotional body and how this also shifted my life off the matt.
In my classes I am passionate about helping students to slow down and reconnect with their physical and emotional body. Yin classes are beautiful for this. Here we will take time in each pose to deeply connect with ourselves, while releasing tension from connective tissues that we have often been holding on to for a long time.
If you are looking for a bit more yang in your life, join me for one of my Hatha classes. Also here we will take time to sense into our body and to find stillness beyond, when holding poses for longer and while focussing on our breath throughout the class.
